my first flag day ever today! i pretty much sucked at it. the only reason why i managed to get any donations at all were because of Erica.
she really doesnt give up even after the ppl have said they'd donated! and most of the time they'd donate again. :) we wanted coins because the teacher in charge of CIP said that the group with the heaviest bags would win a $50 Swensen's voucher. which i think is totally not fair because some ppl give notes and notes are worth more than coins ok!! grrr.
didnt win the Swensen's voucher in the end. our bags weighed 10.5 kg and we thought we were gonna win.... but in the end another gorup had 10.675 kg!!!! ARGH. ice-cream would've been perfect after standing in the hot sun [although morning sun is good for the skin.].stand until got headache, cos the sunlight kept shining into my eyes and i have to squint them and frown in the process so got headache frm frowning too much. :(
NY has so many mosquitoes lor. my calves and ankles are practically covered in mosquito bites. damn irritating!
had lunch with Jia Qi after flag day. she's nice! although i didnt like her at first cos i thought she looked bitchy, but this is another example of how looks are deceiving. she's quite a good friend. :) she said her first impression of me was that i looked dao. really meh. i'm so friendly where got dao??? see, LOOKS ARE DECEIVING.
lessons are starting on monday, and i only have TWO classes on that day: general paper and english lit. have to wait for TWO hrs after GP for the english lit class.
everyone i know is taking maths! and i didnt choose maths! but psychology doesnt need maths, right??????????????????? wait, let me check.
HAHAHAHAHA! psychology only needs a pass in O LEVEL MATHS! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. o level maths! hold on while i laugh madly to myself.
